When a stuck garage door needs urgent service

A door stuck open, a trapped vehicle or an opening that cannot be secured warrants a call. Murray’s takes calls during its published daily hours, with after-hours options subject to availability. Give us the town and the door’s position so we can discuss the next available visit.

Call and explain whether there was a bang, a visible spring gap or an opener failure. Avoid repeatedly running the opener or trying to lift a door with suspected spring damage.

Door stuck open or hanging crooked

Keep children, pets and vehicles away from the opening. Do not stand beneath it or release it from the opener.

Door closed but remote does not work

Describe whether the wall control works and any lights or sounds you observe. We can discuss whether the situation needs an urgent visit or a scheduled appointment.
